These are supposed to be waterproof but over the course of the year that I wore them, they leaked fairly often. To be fair, I live in the PNW on an island and got them quite wet, but the leaking was from the seams around the toes.

Yes! My daughter used them through winter weather in Utah! She loves them!

I would suggest doing so. I did use waterproofing spray on mine.

I would certainly wear in the rain all day, but the insulation inside the boot, in my opinion, would not keep your feet warm enough in the snow.

As well you should wonder...common sense serves you well. These are NOT WATERPROOF and the quilting is not the Only reason why. These are leaky boots at the seams of the actual boot!!!
